Job Description

The Unit of Automatic Control and Informatics of the National Technical University of Athens is seeking to employ a Software Engineer in Athens.

Job Role:

Designing and developing open source software for European research Projects based on Restful Web Services

Job Requirements

Required Skills and Experience:

University degree in Computer Engineering/Computer Science or related field
Εxperience in Java, web technologies and RESTful web services and on the development of Javascript (Angular/ React) applications
Experience in the development of microservices
Ability to work in a team environment, manage assigned tasks and schedules and meet project deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent command of English

Desirable experience:

Experience with Docker containers/Kubernetes
Experience with ontologies and JSON-LD
Experience with MongoDB
Experience with DevOps
