Maintenance Technician

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Ensures that the facilities equipment and machines are maintained properly and working correctly.
• Maintains service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimize production down time.
• Provide technical support on all projects, installations, and breakdowns
• Identifies and analyzes equipment or machinery failures and takes corrective actions.
• Provides technical training to management and other team members.
• Coordinates work performed by outside contractors, vendors, and engineering consultants.
• Ensure all activities are carried out in line with all relevant Health & Safety legislation and good working practices (safe systems of work, completing all necessary safety assessments, audits, inspections, calibrations, etc.)
• Monitor operations and identify corrective actions where necessary.
• Has the obligation to be aware of , participate and comply with Quality, Environmental, Safety and Information Security policies, regulations and management system requirements. Endures duties of high-quality standards at all times and ensures subordinates act in the same manner

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• MA in Engineering will be considered an asset
• Proven and significant work experience as a maintenance engineer in a related field.
• Experienced in both Electrical and Mechanical fault finding.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks
• Strong PC Skills
• Excellent English language skills
• Able to work on-call schedule.

• Teamwork spirit, transparency, and results orientation.
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Very good communication and interpersonal skills.
