Sustainability Manager
As a Sustainability manager, you are the key player in designing, developing and implementing the sustainability strategy within the organization.
In this role you are responsible for Developing and managing the company’s sustainability goals and actions (including policy and procedures), Overseeing efficiency in sources/resources consumption (energy, water, OPEX, CAPEX, personnel etc.), Identifying opportunities for the strategic development of sustainability and creating action plans to support them and Changing group behavior to support sustainability (increase internal awareness etc.).
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Strategic
• Create, develop, maintain sustainability policies, procedures and tools (indicators, reporting forms, metrics etc)
Procurement
• Energy friendly products and services
• Green friendly products and services
• Evaluation of contracted services
Utilities
• Reduction of energy consumption
• Reduction of water consumption
Environment
• Environmental monitoring program
• Environmental legislation
• Reduction of GHG emissions
• Reduction of produced waste lifecycle analysis of our products in collaboration with R&D
Management systems
• Integrate the various management systems of the group (ISO 14001, ISO 50001, ISO 45001, specific management systems for group quality control etc)
Finance
• External funding for sustainability initiatives
Communication
• Internally - Companies sustainability awareness and behavioural change
• External - Companies sustainability communication (Sustainability reports, indicators etc)
• Relationship and/or partnership with sustainability organisations
