IT Helpdesk in Drama, Greece

Responsibilities

• Installing and configuring computer hardware, software systems, operating systems, networks, printers and scanners.
• Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks.
• Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
• Talking to computer users to determine the nature of any problems they encounter.
• Knowledge of infrastructure security: (CCTV, Alarm, Access Control etc).
• Supporting the roll-out of new applications.
• Responding to breakdowns.
• Setting up new users' accounts and profiles.
• Prioritizing and managing many open cases at one time.
• Rapidly establishing a good working relationship with personnel and office users.
• Testing and evaluating new technology.
• Maintaining records of software licenses.
• Managing stocks of equipment, consumables and other supplies.
• Providing support, including documentation and relevant reports.
• Process analysis from technology scope with continuous improvement methods.
• Resource and time management, deliverables and project participation.
• Training staff on newly installed hardware and software and security principles.
• Report directly to the Information Security Manager events related with information security.
• Has the obligation to be aware of, participate and comply with Quality, Environmental, Safety and Information Security policies, regulations and management system requirements. Always endures duties of high-quality standards.

Απαραίτητα Προσόντα

Required academic background, knowledge and experience:

• BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.
• Advanced Proficiency in English (Oral and Written).
• Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills.
• Knowledge of ERP systems will be an asset.
• Microsoft office skills, Excel, Power Query, Pivot, Access.
• Working knowledge of help desk software, databases and remote control would be preferred.
