Backend Software Engineer

Inspot is aiming to become one the leading game companies in Europe. Our aim is to provide top-end entertainment to our users.
We are looking for a young passionate DevOps Engineer to contribute in maintenance and development of our platform and infrastructure and support one of our 3 scrum teams in Athens, Thessaloniki, Switzerland.

All About the Role.

We are seeking an experienced young Backend Software Engineer with an experience in interactive development process.

Main Responsibilities:

• Design server-side architectures
• Write well-structured, maintainable, and highly performing code
• Troubleshoot, debug, and improve existing software
• Collaborate with other team members to develop new features and evolve existing projects

Requirements:

• Excellent knowledge of version control systems (Git)
• Excellent knowledge of RDBMS (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Good knowledge of NoSQL Databases (Redis, MongoDB)
• Advanced knowledge of NodeJS and PHP with proven experience
• Comfortable working in a Linux environment
• Excellent project and time management skills
• Willing to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent English skills, both written and spoken

Good to have:

• Experience in betting industry is a big plus.
• Knowledge of PHP Laravel framework
• Basic knowledge of unit and system tests
• Experience in Elasticsearch & Kibana
• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker
• Familiarity with message brokers like (RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka
