Animation Tools Engineer

We are looking for a skilled and passionate software engineer to join our growing development team in Athens. Our customers include global top-tier game, film, VR, and VFX companies as well as many indie developers and producers making unique content. You will be working closely with our greek and danish software development team as a part of our Animation Tools Product Team working developing, implementing, testing our animations tools in Rokoko Studio.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Developing new filter and postprocessing algorithms to clean up sensor based motion capture data.
• Maintaining existing, developing new and maintain existing user friendly animation tools for cleaning, editing and creating new animation data.

• 3+ years of experience with object oriented programming, C# experience & test driven development.
• Experience with developing time and space efficient algorithms.
• Experience with writing tools to modify and create animation data. Such as IK solvers, curve smoothing & retargeting.
• Experience with writing compute shaders, physic simulations and geometry manipulations is a plus.
• Experience with motion capture technologies and character animation is a plus.
• Experience with Unity engine is a plus.
• A desire and motivation to build the most user friendly, yet advanced tools, to edit and create animation data on the market.
• It’s a plus if you have been working within gaming and/or the creative industries before, but not a must.
