Operations Assistant - Mechanical Engineer

A production company within the food industry, is looking to recruit an operations assistant with an engineering background and a commercial perspective on the day to day business, for its facilities in Achaia, Greece.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the CEO to oversee daily business operations, resolve operational issues and provide excellent customer service (internal and external)
• Identify any issues that might arise, and suggest effective solutions to emerging problems
• Be responsible for auditing internal operation procedures, altering and modifying relevant procedures to meet business requirements and eliminate malfunctions
• Participate in meetings taking place with clients, external partners and supplier, building strong communication and relationship with them
• Compile sales and product reports
• Keep an eye on the full cycle of operational and administrative procedures
• Keep updated on corresponding markets and industry trends

Technical Skills

• 2 years of working experience in an operational-sales position of a manufacturing or engineering company
• BSc Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Postgraduate degree in business field will be considered an asset
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent command of the English language
