Human Resources Generalist in Drama, Greece

Scope
Responsible for completing a variety of tasks to support the daily operations of the HR department. The HR Generalist makes sure that employees follow all policies and procedures, creates new onboarding plans, and maintains accurate records of employees and processes, payroll, training and other administrative procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Collect monthly timesheets, monitor employee absences, and prepare compensation reports.
  • Track and maintain records of employees' specialties (IKA, ERGANI), and assist in training initiatives.
  • Manage employee records, including personal files, hiring, transfers, terminations, and contract renewals.
  • Maintain training records and support training programs.
  • Update internal databases and HR systems.
  • Provide HR support to employees on leave, compensation, and other related topics.
  • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies.
  • Support performance management processes.
  • Prioritize continuous improvement and adhere to confidentiality requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, Information Security, and General Data Protection Regulations.
  • Stay informed and compliant with Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Information Security policies and regulations.

Απαραίτητα Προσόντα

Required academic background, knowledge and experience:

  • University Degree in business administration, human resources, finance or other related field.
  • Postgraduate Degree in HR is considered an asset.
  • 2+ years’ experience in a variety of HR related areas with focus on HR help desk, employee relations, payroll, and labor law.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, accompanied by advanced PC skills.
  • Experience in HRIS systems.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail, an insistence on accuracy and highly organized.
  • Demonstration of initiative and independence of action in performing the responsibilities of the position.
  • Ability to deal with various levels of company personnel in a competent and efficient manner.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent English knowledge, both in verbal and written communication.
