Junior Waiter

Meli Suites is a charming and intimate hotel in the heart of Skala Potamia Thasos. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional service and a warm, welcoming atmosphere to all our guests. As a small hotel, we value teamwork, dedication, and a passion for hospitality.

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Junior Waiter. The Junior Waiter will assist in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our breakfast area, providing outstanding service to our guests. Working hours are 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and 8:30 pm to 11:30 pm (7 hours in total per day).

Customer Service:

• Greet and welcome guests warmly as they arrive at the breakfast area.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure timely delivery of orders and attend to any special requests or needs of guests.

Table Maintenance:

• Set up dining areas with tableware, utensils, and condiments.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables and dining areas throughout service.
• Clear tables promptly after guests finish their meals and reset them for the next guests.

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with other wait staff, kitchen staff, and management to ensure seamless service.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues to relay guest requests and coordinate service flow.

Knowledge and Compliance:

• Have a good understanding of the menu offerings, including ingredients and preparation methods.
• Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards.
• Follow established procedures for taking orders, handling payments, and closing out checks.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role is not required; we are willing to train the right candidate.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
