Health & Safety Specialist

Optimal HR Group, on behalf of its client, one of the world’s leading brewery groups, is looking for a Health & Safety Specialist for the company’s plant in Vathy, Avlida.

The H&S Specialist is responsible to lead and support the Environmental, Health & Salfety program to support company’s strategic goals. The position reports to the Health & Safety Supervisor.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and develop Health & Safety initiatives to comply with local legislation & the company’s policies.
• Develop and deliver training programs of colleagues on Environmental, Health & Safety practices.
• Responsible for the management systems: ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018
• Ensure the compliance to the company’s H&S policies and standards.
• Support all managers in implementing improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• University Degree in Engineering (MSc will be considered as a plus)
• 1-3 years of experience in production or H&S management preferably in Food & Beverage Industry
• Fluency in Greek & English, oral and written
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Quick decision making
• Teamwork
