Electrical Technician (On behalf of our client)

On behalf of our client, we are looking for an Electrical Technician to join their team!

As an Electrical Technician, you will provide day-to-day and ad-hoc maintenance and repair of a big infrastructure Systems’ automation, network, and security screening equipment, towards maximizing the system’s efficiency and minimizing system downtime.

Responsibilities

You will:

• Maintain, inspect, and adjust the Systems’ machinery, equipment, and network
• Respond to failure alarms, troubleshoots, and reports accordingly
• Repair first-line failures and breakdowns of the Systems
• Perform the audit of Preventive Maintenance Contractor’s works
• Assist in the warehouse control and transactions, and in spare parts/consumable planning
• Log all alarms, events, and faults of the system during the shift, in a computerized platform
• Participate in the implementation of small mechanical, electrical, and automation projects, designed by the Department’s Engineers

• Technological Educational Institute (TEI) Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering field
• Certification by the Chamber of Industry, relative to the primary task / Licence grade six (ΣΤ’) of Electrical Technician
• 3-5 years of previous working experience in large automated production lines
• Experience in electrical repairs and construction activities in big infrastructure projects
• Driver’s License
• PC Literate
• Very good knowledge of the English language (reading, writing, and verbal communication)
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills
