Description

lmw is seeking for an experienced Business Development Director on behalf of a pharmaceutical company based in Athens. The company is fast-growing, with a long experience in the distribution, and promotion of generic products.

Responsibilities
  • Lead license-out and license-in initiatives and attract business-to-business deals and partnerships.
  • Meet clients abroad (within the EMEA region) and achieve measurable goals.
  • Engage with companies in the pharmaceutical sector and promote the corporate brand and developed products.
  • Support the Business Development functions of the company, including the domestic and international portfolio development, exports, business analysis operations, as well as the maintenance of existing partnerships.
  • Explore opportunities for new products and partnerships.
  • Participate to international exhibitions and B2B events, arrange and/or attend meetings with international clients and partners.
  • Represent and promote company in contacts with existing and new customers
  • Search and identify opportunities of cooperation with new customers, build strong professional relationship with key decision makers in client organizations
  • Understand customer strategy and identify opportunities
  • Coordinate contracts and pricing negotiations, propose internally new service offering
  • Align internal organization towards the customer needs and market trends
  • Work closely with relevant internal R&D, QA and QC teams to deeply understand their scientific strategy

Απαραίτητα Προσόντα

Requirements
  • Degree in Pharmacy/Chemistry/Chemical/Mechanical Engineering/Economics
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in a similar role in the Pharmaceutical industry
  • Fluency in English
  • Business orientation with strong focus in goals' achievement
  • Ability to travel
