• Assess compliance with fire, building, and relevant technical codes, standards, laws, and regulations.
• Identify and report non-compliance issues, prioritizing findings based on their significance.
• Coordinate fire safety and regulatory compliance activities as required.
• Provide advice on enhancing fire safety measures at airports and ensuring compliance with fire brigade regulations and other relevant codes and laws.
• Prepare documentation and oversee the issuance of fire protection certificates, ensuring they remain valid.
• Assist departments in implementing fire protection projects, resolving any execution challenges.
• Conduct ad hoc audits and offer guidance on fire safety matters.
• Maintain updated evacuation plan drawings for each airport and ensure proper communication and distribution.
• Participate in projects requiring building permits or fire protection studies.
• Support the development of a performance monitoring system for fire safety inspections across all airports to facilitate continual improvement.

The ideal candidate for the Fire Safety Engineer's position should possess:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering
• 3-5 years of working experience, preferably in a similar role.
• Familiarity with applicable Fire Protection Codes, Regulations & Standards
• Proficient oral and written command of the English language
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD
• Proven experience in planning/monitoring/managing Fire Safety issues and Fire Protection measures for facilities & installations
• Previous professional experience in large-scale design and construction projects
