Assistant Waiter (Ref: ES/AW21)

Job Description:

The role: Is responsible to provide professional and customer focused service to the guests, ensuring their stay will become a memorable experience.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist waiters with the serving of spirits and food, set-up and clearing of china, glass, and silver from service as well as attend to guest needs and requests.
• Maintain tables dirt-free and tidy
• Preserve the workstation organized and stocked at all times
• Provide a warm and friendly welcome to all guests
• Keep a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance

Job Requirements:

• Excellent command of the Greek and English language
• Knowledge of a third language (i.e. German, French, Italian, etc.) will be valued accordingly
• Enthusiastic, friendly & self-motivated professional eager to learn, develop and be part of a growing team
• Ability to cope under pressure and deliver excellent service results in a high-paced luxury environment
• Relevant experience within a restaurant, ideally within a hotel environment
• Degree in Hospitality/Tourism is highly desirable
• Proactive, able to work efficiently under pressure, to make decisions and come up with effective solutions
• Hands-on approach, flexible, with a positive attitude
